About the job

Leads the design, validation, and deployment of PCBA test stations for robotic systems, from lab prototypes through contract-manufacturer production use.

What you'll do

  • Design and commission test-station hardware, instrumentation, interfaces, and automated test workflows.
  • Develop test coverage and criteria; debug boards and stations, validate measurements, and improve reliability and performance.
  • Deploy and support stations at contract manufacturers, including acceptance, training, documentation, and troubleshooting.

What they ask for

  • Demonstrated ability to independently deliver electronics test-system projects from ambiguous requirements through validated, sustained use.
  • Hands-on circuit and fixture-interface design, board bring-up, power delivery, signal switching, and instrument integration.
  • Ability to debug PCBAs and test hardware using oscilloscopes, meters, logic analyzers, and systematic root-cause investigation.
  • Ability to write, debug, and maintain hardware-interfacing code in Python or a comparable language.

Nice to have

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with PCBA functional testing, embedded programming, test-automation frameworks, PCB design tools, production data systems, or robotics hardware.
