About the job

Develop and integrate compact electrical hardware for robotic systems, owning work from concept and circuit design through validation and deployment.

What you'll do

  • Own electrical architecture for robotic and electromechanical systems, including sensing, communication, power distribution, and actuator interfaces.
  • Design, build, validate, and deploy compact electronics, resolving issues through root cause and design changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware into robotic platforms and balance system-level tradeoffs.

What they ask for

  • 6+ years of experience developing electrical systems for robotics or other tightly integrated electromechanical products.
  • Personally owned hardware from concept through PCB layout, bring-up, validation, and deployment.
  • Experience designing compact, high-density electronics for severe mechanical constraints.
  • Ability to make decisions across electrical, firmware, and mechanical boundaries and drive loosely defined problems.

Nice to have

  • Experience with GMSL, MIPI/CSI, FPD-Link, or other high-speed camera interfaces.
  • Experience with multi-board systems, EVT/DVT-style builds, low-volume production, or bring-up firmware in C, C++, Rust, or Python.

Pay

$287K – $423K (base salary)

Tools

BGAs, rigid-flex assemblies, fine-pitch interconnects, micro-coax, FPCs, GMSL, MIPI/CSI, FPD-Link

AI focus
