Leads Osmo’s Applied AI team and roadmap, delivering olfactory machine-learning models from research through production APIs and enterprise commitments.
What you'll do
- Hire, develop, and lead ML engineers and research scientists; set team standards and model priorities.
- Own model benchmarks, evaluation quality, and contractual accuracy deliverables.
- Partner across teams to design data experiments and ship reliable production models.
What they ask for
- 10+ years of industry ML/AI experience in an applied or research capacity, with models shipped to real users.
- Experience managing, hiring, leveling, and growing ML engineers or research scientists; team-lead experience with real ownership counts.
- Depth in at least one of: generative models over structured or discrete objects, molecular or chemical ML, multi-modal representation learning, LLM systems and evaluation, or Bayesian and experimental design.
- Experience owning models in production, including versioning, monitoring, and drift.
