Leads electrical field failure analysis and product safety for Oura Ring products, driving evidence-based corrective actions and feeding findings into future product design and quality processes.
What you'll do
- Investigate returned products and field safety issues, determine confirmed failure mechanisms, and document supporting evidence.
- Direct corrective actions with contract manufacturers and suppliers, then verify effectiveness using field, factory, reliability, or component data.
- Translate confirmed findings into design, DFMEA, testing, component-selection, and reliability inputs for NPI programs.
What they ask for
- 7+ years of experience in Product Quality, Failure Analysis, or Manufacturing Quality Engineering supporting electronic products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Hands-on electronic product troubleshooting and experience conducting or directing non-destructive and destructive failure analysis.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, JMP, Minitab, or comparable tools.

$172,550 - $ 203,000 USD base salary
