Staff AI Engineer - Developer Productivity

What you'll do

• Set technical direction for agentic pipeline infrastructure, including orchestration, context management, tool calling, and cloud sandboxing.
• Extend agent workflows across the SDLC, from specifications and testing through code review, CI triage, and release verification.
• Build production-grade tooling and evaluation, observability, security, and adoption practices for agentic workflows.

What they ask for

• Production experience building and operating developer tooling, internal platforms, or production AI infrastructure at scale.
• Experience designing, deploying, and measuring agentic coding workflows or autonomous developer automation in real-world engineering environments.
• Technical leadership, including architectural direction, technical designs, and cross-team consensus building.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, testing, and debugging, plus fluency in at least one backend or mobile stack.

Nice to have

• Experience with coding-agent evaluation harnesses or benchmarks, cloud sandboxed execution, ephemeral environments, or VM fleet orchestration.
• Familiarity with DORA or SPACE measurement frameworks, or experience with mobile platforms or privacy-sensitive/regulated hardware products.

Pay

USD $233,000 - $267,950 base salary; USD $212,000 - $243,800 base salary; USD $199,000 - $228,850 base salary
