About the job
Models and verifies Oxide deployments, builds network emulation and analysis tools, and helps prepare the platform for varied customer environments.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with systems engineers and customer support to understand use cases and prepare the platform for diverse deployment environments.
- Develop tools to emulate and analyze complex networks, including production customer networks.
- Write open-source code and model and verify interactions across the rack-scale system and deployment environment.
What they ask for
- Experience deploying and operating large-scale mission-critical network and compute infrastructure.
- Experience with Rust or another low-level systems language such as C.
- Experience implementing networking protocols in performance- and correctness-constrained environments.
- Experience designing, implementing, deploying, and operating data center networks using dynamic routing protocols and overlay networks.
Nice to have
- Experience with BGP implementation or deployment.
