About the job
Develop and improve networking components of Oxide’s illumos-based Helios host operating system, including device drivers and performance-focused networking stack work.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and bring up host system software, particularly networking components.
- Write or enhance drivers for networking devices, including NICs, switching silicon, and FPGA-based NICs.
- Improve networking-stack performance through hardware offloads, software rearchitecture, and implementation changes.
