About the job
Build web interfaces and backend systems that help facility teams monitor, configure, and safely operate a fusion demonstration facility.
What you'll do
- Develop user interfaces for system monitoring, configuration, alerts, events, and diagnostics.
- Assist with backend services for facility data, configuration, system state, and controls-system integrations.
- Test, debug, validate, and maintain software; contribute to code reviews and system integration.
What they ask for
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Coursework or experience in software development fundamentals and web or backend programming.
- Familiarity with at least one of TypeScript / JavaScript, Go, or Python.
- Able to work full time onsite for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning Mid May–Mid June 2027.
Nice to have
- Junior, senior, or graduate student; experience with React or another modern UI framework, REST or event-based APIs, Git, containers, or telemetry data.
- 6+ months of prior internship, co-op, or academic project experience outside normal classes; GPA of 3.5 or above.
Pay
$30 — $48 USD base salary
