About the job
Develop and refine security detections and automation in Cortex XSIAM, translating threat intelligence and adversary techniques into operational defenses.
What you'll do
- Refine and quality-check detection rules for performance, accuracy, and operational relevance.
- Turn threat intelligence and emerging adversary TTPs into detection logic and response playbooks.
- Design security workflows spanning data ingestion, detection engineering, and automated response.
What they ask for
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a Senior SOC, Detection Engineering, or Security Architecture role using SIEMs, firewalls, EDR, sandboxes, and SOAR platforms.
- Experience across the detection engineering lifecycle, including rule testing, soft deployment, and continuous tuning; reviewing and optimizing others’ detection logic.
- Experience designing complex automation playbooks and background in incident response, threat hunting, and applying threat intelligence.
- Software development experience with strong proficiency in Python; strong consultative and communication skills.
