About the job
Build and lead Parallel’s accounting function, owning accounting operations and developing the team, systems, policies, and processes to support the company’s growth.
What you'll do
- Own month-end close, financial statements, revenue recognition, audit readiness, tax and statutory compliance, and internal controls.
- Set accounting processes, policies, chart of accounts, and technical positions, including for usage-based revenue, compute commitments, and cost treatment.
- Build the accounting team, select and implement systems, and partner with finance, revenue operations, legal, and other functions.
