About the job

Develop and deploy real-time perception and sensor-fusion software that enables autonomous rail vehicles to understand their surroundings.

What you'll do

  • Build, test, and maintain real-time pipelines and algorithms that fuse lidar, camera, IMU, GPS, and other sensor data.
  • Develop geometry-based perception, calibration, state-estimation, and tracking algorithms, and validate them in simulation and field deployments.
  • Work with engineering teams on sensor selection, system integration, hardware considerations, and production test plans.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience considered.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying robotics or perception software in real-world systems.
  • Strong background implementing geometry-based computer vision and robotics algorithms.
  • Proficiency in Rust and C/C++; experience with real-time systems and multimodal sensor fusion across lidar, camera, IMU, and GPS.

Nice to have

  • Experience with sensor fusion, localization/SLAM, online calibration, or GStreamer.
  • Experience with ROS2 or similar robotics middleware, rugged robotic hardware, or autonomous vehicles and other safety-critical domains.
