Director, Bank Controller

What you'll do

• Lead financial controllers; manage close, reporting, and presentation of results to senior leadership.
• Maintain accounting and reporting processes, risk assessments, and control frameworks in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Oversee outsourced-activity compliance and coordinate with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.

What they ask for

• Active CPA license; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience, including meaningful experience in an insured depository institution or comparable regulated banking environment.
• 5+ years in a senior management or Director-level role overseeing accounting teams, financial and regulatory reporting, and first-line controls.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in bank GAAP and regulatory accounting, close and reconciliation governance, controls, audit, banking systems, and regulator support.

Nice to have

• Experience with a de novo bank charter, industrial bank buildout, bank conversion, acquisition, or financial-institution transformation.
• Big Four or other major public-accounting experience serving banks or financial institutions.

Pay

$152,500.00 - $226,600.00 Annually (USD, base salary)
