Principal Engineer, Cloud Data Infrastructure

What you'll do

• Set the technology vision and roadmap for data platform infrastructure, including databases, pipelines, messaging, caching, and performance engineering.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, improve engineering effectiveness, and mentor engineers across the organization.
• Advise senior and executive stakeholders and influence technical and multi-year business strategy.

What they ask for

• 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems in production cloud environments.
• Hands-on expertise across relational and NoSQL databases, distributed caching, and message queue architectures.
• Strong DevOps background, AI-first development practice, and a track record improving performance and scalability for consumer-facing applications serving tens of millions of users.

Nice to have

• Background in financial technology, payments processing, or regulated industries; experience with highly reliable, millisecond-response transaction systems.
• Familiarity with resilience engineering, modern data pipelines, real-time analytics, or AI/ML infrastructure such as vector databases, feature stores, or LLM serving.

USD 218,000.00 - 323,950.00 Annually (base salary); USD 198,000.00 - 294,250.00 Annually (base salary)
