Optimizes the performance and efficiency of systems supporting trading strategies, from software and operating systems to hardware, and takes improvements into production.
What you'll do
- Analyze end-to-end performance and identify bottlenecks using Linux performance tools.
- Optimize compute utilization through tuning, configuration, and architectural changes across system layers.
- Build performance telemetry, evaluate performance technologies, and collaborate with development teams on regressions and code reviews.
What they ask for
- Expertise in Linux internals, including kernel subsystems, memory management, and networking.
- Proficiency with performance tooling such as perf, eBPF, Ftrace, strace, and sysstat.
- Experience tuning system and application performance, including NUMA, memory, networking, and storage.
- Understanding of CPU microarchitecture, cache hierarchies, memory subsystems, and hardware performance counters.
Nice to have
