About the job

Advance multimodal AI research and develop models and systems from pre-training through deployment and ongoing improvement for real-world use.

What you'll do

  • Design architectures, algorithms, and systems for multimodal pre-training; develop RL and post-training methods to scale test-time compute.
  • Research efficient inference, including streaming systems, compression, distillation, and quantization.
  • Create evaluation frameworks to measure real-world model performance.

What they ask for

  • BS, MS, PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
  • Strong publication record in multimodal learning, transfer learning, or deployment of ML systems
  • Experience with modern deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow)
  • Track record of implementing and scaling large neural network architectures

Nice to have

  • Experience deploying ML models in production environments
  • Familiarity with model optimization techniques (pruning, quantization, distillation)

Pay

$180,000 to $250,000 USD base salary

Tools

PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow

AI focus

Research and develop multimodal AI models that understand and reason across text, images, audio, and sensor data, including pre-training, RL and post-training, efficient inference, and real-world evaluation.
