About the job
Build and optimize low-latency runtime systems and real-time sensor, actuator, and video pipelines for robots and their supporting platform.
What you'll do
- Engineer reliable, low-latency pipelines across Linux, drivers, middleware, and hardware interfaces.
- Profile and optimize system performance across compute, I/O, memory, scheduling, networking, and storage.
- Develop OS-level capabilities and tooling for deterministic operation, streaming, profiling, and debugging.
What they ask for
- Strong programming skills in C++, Rust, or Python, with experience building and optimizing production software.
- Experience with Linux systems programming, including syscalls, drivers, kernel parameters, scheduling, and memory/I/O subsystems.
- Background in real-time or near-real-time systems, VR/AR, video pipelines, 3D engines, or streaming systems with strict latency budgets.
- Experience with profiling tools and optimizing performance across the stack.
Nice to have
- Experience with VR/AR platforms or low-latency 3D engines.
- Camera systems, video streaming, robotics, autonomous systems, SLAM, perception, kernel engineering, device drivers, high-performance networking, or real-time distributed systems experience.
Tools
C++, Rust, Python, Linux, perf, eBPF, WebRTC
AI focus
