What you'll do

  • Build, validate, and interpret complex low- and high-frequency electromagnetic models; automate simulation and optimization pipelines.
  • Work with customers and data science teams to deliver simulation and AI solutions, present results, and improve simulations for deep-learning surrogates.
  • Mentor junior engineers and travel to customer sites in North America an average of 3–4 weeks per quarter.

What they ask for

  • Deep expertise in electromagnetic theory and simulation, with hands-on experience in at least one relevant EM area.
  • Proficiency in at least one industry-standard EM simulation platform.
  • Ability to independently set up complex simulations, interpret results, and make sound engineering decisions.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of industry experience post Masters or PhD in a commercial, non-research environment.

Nice to have

  • Coding skills in Python and/or MATLAB, or ability to quickly learn programming languages.
  • PCB layout and signal integrity analysis experience using tools such as Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, or Ansys SIwave.

Tools

Ansys HFSS, Ansys Maxwell, CST Studio Suite, COMSOL Multiphysics, Altair FEKO, Altair Flux, Siemens Simcenter MAGNET, Python
