About the job
Own and improve Plaid’s company-wide network infrastructure, leading safe network changes, building developer self-service tools, and strengthening reliability and security.
What you'll do
- Lead staged company-wide network changes, modernize cloud networking, and build tools for product engineers using Go and Terraform.
- Improve network security and compliance boundaries; debug complex issues and improve alerts, dashboards, and guardrails.
- Participate in on-call, lead network incident response, and drive follow-up fixes.
What they ask for

- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP, and load balancing.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes networking, such as a CNI, service mesh, or ingress; cloud networking experience, ideally on AWS.
