Software Engineer (SE / Sr SE), Applied ML & Data Mining

What you'll do

• Develop and evaluate data-mining, retrieval, and ranking methods for fleet data.
• Build and operate distributed mining, inference, and indexing pipelines, plus semantic image, video, and scenario search.
• Ship end-to-end mining products, including APIs, services, search and review interfaces, deployment, and production reliability.

What they ask for

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience developing and evaluating machine-learning, data-mining, computer-vision, or information-retrieval methods using a framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Understanding of model uncertainty and evaluation, embeddings and similarity search, and how training-data composition affects model behavior.
• Self-driven, with ownership, learning agility, and ability to drive projects end to end.

Nice to have

• Production full-stack experience across backend services, REST APIs, relational data modeling and SQL, and JavaScript or TypeScript frontend development using React or a comparable framework.
• Experience improving models through data, or with embedding and multimodal models, vector databases, or GPU batch inference at scale.

USD 130,000–220,000 per-year-salary
