Software Engineer (SE / Sr SE), Data Infrastructure

What you'll do

• Develop high-throughput C++ vehicle-data recording systems that operate within hardware resource constraints.
• Build Python services and libraries for data transfer, ingestion, validation, conversion, cataloging, and storage lifecycle management.
• Improve vehicle-data formats and scalable data access for fleet-scale mining, replay, and analytics.

What they ask for

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Programming experience in modern C++ and working proficiency in Python.
• Linux systems knowledge, including concurrency, resource management, storage I/O, networking, debugging, and performance profiling.
• Strong ownership, ability to learn quickly, and willingness to drive projects end to end.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with protobuf, gRPC, compression or media codecs, and native C++/Python bindings.
• Experience with autonomous vehicles, robotics, ROS or ROS 2, robotics log formats, columnar data formats, or lakehouse table technologies.

Pay

USD 120,000–200,000 (per-year-salary) base salary
