Staff/Senior Staff Software Engineer - Perception

What you'll do

• Develop and implement perception systems and collaborate with the planner team on an end-to-end AI-based autonomous driving system.
• Advance AI techniques and the technical vision for real-world robotics and autonomous driving challenges.
• Manage and develop a team of deep learning and software engineers, while fostering cross-functional collaboration.

What they ask for

• Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience deploying state-of-the-art computer vision or deep learning technologies in real-world applications.
• Proficiency in C++ or Python.
• Execution skills in a fast-paced environment, technical leadership abilities, and interest in applying AI to real-world applications.

Nice to have

• Track record in designing organizational structures and growing people; experience in the autonomous driving industry.
• Understanding of real-time systems and optimization, and experience deploying products or platforms in the real world.

Pay

$245,000 - $350,000 USD annually (base salary)
