What you'll do
- Build power models and perform activity-driven analysis; optimize power across blocks and subsystems.
- Develop UPF/CPF specifications and run power-aware verification, including low-power states and sequencing.
- Collaborate across architecture, RTL, backend, firmware, thermal, packaging, and systems teams; use AI-driven tools to improve power engineering workflows.
What they ask for
- 8+ years of ASIC design or implementation experience, with significant focus on power.
- Hands-on expertise in low-power design techniques and UPF/CPF specification and verification flows.
- Proficiency with PrimePower and Joules or equivalent power analysis tools; experience with advanced process nodes.
- Strong RTL understanding, production-silicon power-target contributions, and Tcl and/or Python scripting skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI accelerator architectures; familiarity with LPDDR, HBM, or PCIe; or experience with DVFS or thermal modeling.
- Silicon power validation experience, or experience mentoring engineers or leading subsystem power efforts.
Pay
$200,000 – $300,000 USD base salary
