About the job

Lead bench-based phage display campaigns and develop high-throughput assays that produce model-ready protein–protein interaction data for AI-driven antibody and protein design.

What you'll do

  • Build high-throughput platforms to identify and measure protein–protein interactions.
  • Run phage display campaigns from library construction through panning, NGS, and hit validation.
  • Plan campaigns with ML and protein design teams, and establish assay controls, QC, and data standards for model training and evaluation.

What they ask for

  • Deep hands-on experience with phage display and antibody discovery.
  • Strong molecular biology skills for library construction.
  • Solid understanding of NGS-based screening and converting sequencing data into quantitative measurements.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and record-keeping.

Nice to have

  • Experience in therapeutic antibody optimization, binding kinetics or affinity measurement by SPR or BLI/Octet, or epitope mapping.
  • Familiarity with other display systems, lab automation platforms, or moving assays into routine use; LIMS and data/metadata schemas.

Pay

$132,000 — $167,000 USD (base salary)

Tools

phage display, NGS, SPR, BLI/Octet, yeast, mammalian, ribosome, mRNA

AI focus
