Forward Deployed Marketing Engineer

What you'll do

• Work alongside customer teams, often onsite, to identify useful applications for Profound and improve marketing workflows.
• Build and troubleshoot agents and workflows, review outputs for quality, and help practitioners use Profound independently.
• Train agency and consulting partners, share reusable playbooks, and relay recurring customer needs to Product.

What they ask for

• 5–8 years in marketing or working closely with marketing teams.
• Marketing judgment and ability to understand marketers’ priorities and assess the quality of work.
• Strong communication, customer credibility, initiative, and ability to manage stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Comfort working regularly onsite with customers and their internal teams, agencies, and consultants.

Nice to have

• Experience automating processes, configuring marketing tools, building with LLMs, or connecting systems; coding is welcome but not required.
• Experience with HubSpot, Marketo, Braze, Segment, or Clay; Profound University certification or specialized AI, marketing automation, or industry expertise is a plus.

Pay

$149,250 to $155,250 USD base salary (NYC and SF); £94,500 to £98,250 GBP base salary (London)
