Head of Research, DataLab

What you'll do

• Define the research strategy and roadmap, and align experiments with product and company priorities.
• Design and oversee research on dataset quality, model performance, synthetic data, and privacy-preserving methods; build benchmarking and evaluation systems.
• Lead and scale the research team, partner across Product, Engineering, and GTM, and represent DataLab in customer and external technical conversations.

• Track record leading impactful AI, machine learning, data infrastructure, or applied research initiatives that influenced product or business strategy.
• Experience building and managing high-performing research teams.
• Experience with customer, GTM, or external stakeholder partnerships in applied technical settings.
• Experience developing evaluation frameworks or experimentation systems for model performance, dataset quality, synthetic data, or related work.
