Develop and validate embedded firmware and high-fidelity virtual platforms for DirectFlash SSD modules, enabling earlier testing and faster firmware development.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain firmware simulation environments and hardware models for controller logic, PCIe, NVMe, and NAND behavior.
- Develop tools to profile performance and analyze failures; integrate virtual platforms into CI/CD and validation workflows.
- Work with ASIC vendors and cross-functional teams to validate firmware against RTL and digital logic designs.
What they ask for
- Expert-level C/C++ proficiency, including object-oriented design and C++11 or later, plus strong Python skills.
- Deep understanding of firmware-hardware interaction, including translating schematics and data sheets into software models.
- Solid Linux knowledge (kernel and bootloaders), ability to root-cause across hardware/firmware boundaries, and knowledge of PCIe and NVMe.
