About the job
Conducts ground and flight testing, operational support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Pyka’s autonomous aircraft.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot and maintain aircraft, ground infrastructure, laptops, and batteries at test sites.
- Prepare and test aircraft for airworthiness, and operate experimental aircraft as Pilot in Command or Ground Control Operator.
- Lead or participate in ground and flight tests, recommend product improvements, and manage flight-operation logistics.
What they ask for
- Experience flying fixed-wing UAVs/model aircraft or large multirotors.
- Experience with ground-control and mission-planning software, mechanical and electrical systems, assembly, and troubleshooting.
- Basic high-voltage safety knowledge and comfort working on 120 VDC, 20–30 kW systems.
- Proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Linux, command line usage, and git; experience analyzing data logs and knowledge of aircraft systems and manuals.
