What you'll do
- Explore performance strategies and develop microarchitecture specifications with architects and the CPU modeling team.
- Develop, assess, and refine RTL to meet power, performance, area, and timing goals.
- Support functional and performance verification and collaborate on physical design implementation and validation.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of microprocessor architecture, including expertise in one or more CPU subsystems or execution areas.
- Knowledge of Verilog and/or VHDL, simulators and waveform debugging tools, logic design, low-power and high-performance CPU techniques, and Perl or Python.
