What you'll do
- Develop AI, inference, and data-intensive bare-metal workloads for memory and compute validation.
- Debug hardware and software issues across SoC architecture, firmware, drivers, interconnects, memory, clocks, power, and low-power features.
- Support silicon bring-up, qualification, and productization through technical analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
What they ask for
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, scripting, and low-level software development.
- Understanding of SoC architecture, embedded systems, operating systems, memory hierarchy, caches, coherency, and concurrency.
- Experience with silicon bring-up, validation, and root-cause analysis; familiarity with JTAG, kernel debuggers, lab instrumentation, and validation tools.
- Experience working across the hardware/software boundary in complex systems.
Nice to have
- Experience with Near-Memory Compute (NMC), Processing-in-Memory (PIM), HBM, LPDDR/DDR memory systems, memory controllers, or AI accelerators.
- Knowledge of AI GEMM and GEMV operations, DMA, multi-threading, AI/ML-assisted validation, embedded firmware, device drivers, bare-metal software, emulation, or post-silicon validation.
Pay
$145,600.00 - $218,400.00 USD (pay range; salary is one component of total compensation)
Tools
C/C++, Python, JTAG, HBM, LPDDR/DDR, DMA
AI focus
Develop AI and inference workloads to stress memory and compute subsystems; work on AI-centric memory and compute architectures and AI accelerators. AI/ML-assisted validation and debug are preferred.
