About the job

Leads advanced-node yield learning, diagnostics, forecasting, and pre-silicon design-for-yield work to improve manufacturing readiness and yield for AI platforms using logic, HBM, chiplet, and 3DIC technologies.

What you'll do

  • Lead silicon characterization, yield diagnostics, failure analysis, and root-cause investigations across wafer fabrication, test, and system validation.
  • Develop yield models, forecasts, dashboards, and analytics to guide technology readiness, manufacturing ramps, and business planning.
  • Partner with architecture, design, IP, foundry, and engineering teams to reduce yield risks and improve manufacturability before and after tapeout.

What they ask for

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years (or equivalent experience) in advanced-node yield engineering or related areas, with ownership of silicon bring-up, yield learning, and yield improvement.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced semiconductor technology nodes (2nm, A14, or equivalent) and yield ramp activities.
  • Experience with yield diagnostics, failure debugging, manufacturing data analytics, test-chip characterization, and yield modeling and forecasting.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Design-for-Yield (DFY), including defect-aware design, redundancy, repair strategies, and manufacturability optimization.
  • Experience applying analytics, machine learning, AI, or automation to yield analysis and manufacturing optimization.
