Lead systems engineering for large-scale quantum computers, aligning scientific goals with hardware, control software, architecture, and integration milestones.
What you'll do
- Partner with quantum scientists to understand machine operation and translate evolving scientific goals into traceable engineering requirements.
- Develop and maintain system architecture; identify interface gaps and integration risks, and lead system-level trade studies.
- Define integration and test strategy, improve pre-deployment testing, and mentor engineers and emerging systems thinkers.
