Manages and optimizes production Kubernetes clusters across on-premises and cloud environments, improving automation, reliability, security, and delivery.
What you'll do
- Deploys, upgrades, maintains, and scales Kubernetes clusters; troubleshoots performance and availability issues.
- Builds automation and infrastructure-as-code workflows and maintains monitoring, logging, alerting, and security practices.
- Integrates Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines, documents operations, and shares best practices with the team.
What they ask for
- 7–10 years of software development and/or *nix administration experience, including 3+ years managing Kubernetes clusters in production.
- Automation and scripting experience with Python, Go, or Bash; expertise with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
- Experience administering on-prem and cloud operating systems; practical experience with Docker, Helm, and/or Kustomize.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Kubernetes networking, and troubleshooting multi-layered systems.
Nice to have
