About the job
Designs and develops custom production equipment for manufacturing, assembling, and semi-remotely fueling or defueling Radiant’s microreactors.
What you'll do
- Partner with design and manufacturing engineers to develop production equipment for fabricating and assembling complex mechanisms and structures.
- Design, analyze, and fabricate equipment for semi-remote reactor fueling and defueling operations.
- Identify and develop suppliers for components and fabrication.

- 4+ years of experience designing mechanical equipment and fabricating multi-component assemblies in CAD (NX or similar).
- Solid understanding of GD&T and experience applying it to fabrication drawings.
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as necessary; must work 100% onsite at El Segundo HQ.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
- Experience with analytical and finite element-based analysis methods, custom machine design, or electromechanical systems.
