Manage civil insurance-defense cases from initial pleadings through trial, including discovery, motions, depositions, client coordination, and courtroom advocacy.
What you'll do
- Handle cases through discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial; draft and respond to written discovery and argue motions.
- Prepare and examine witnesses, including experts, and serve as lead or supporting trial counsel.
- Coordinate with claims professionals, clients, experts, and legal support staff; travel within California for hearings, depositions, and site visits.
