About the job

Own and improve production machine-learning models for sensitive text and other data, from data labeling and evaluation through experimentation and release.

What you'll do

  • Retrain and analyze production models, releasing measurable accuracy improvements.
  • Design scalable data-labeling approaches and extend model capabilities to audio, video, and tabular data.
  • Build evaluation benchmarks and experiment tools, and apply suitable rules-based, classical ML, fine-tuning, or LLM techniques to entity recognition and resolution.

What they ask for

  • 3+ years of experience releasing and improving machine-learning models in production.
  • Strong Python software engineering skills, including production-grade code.
  • Experience working with AWS.
  • Track record investigating model underperformance, curating training data, and improving precision and recall.

Nice to have

  • Background in natural language processing, ideally text extraction or entity-focused tasks.
  • STEM undergraduate degree from a highly ranked US university.

Pay

USD 250,000 to 330,000 per year (base salary)
