BS or MS in computer science, machine learning, or a related quantitative field.

About the job

Design, train, and deploy machine learning models that evaluate complex technical work using multimodal data and expert judgment.

What you'll do

  • Build models that reason over images, geometry, and interaction logs; translate practitioner expertise into structured criteria and labels.
  • Manage the learning loop, including data generation, trajectory capture, failure analysis, dataset curation, and continuous evaluation.
  • Deploy models in production pipelines supporting live decisions.

What they ask for

  • Experience building and training models from the ground up, beyond applications built on third-party models.
  • Track record shipping machine learning on multimodal data in a single pipeline.
  • BS or MS in computer science, machine learning, or a related quantitative field; strong theoretical and practical command of neural network methods and current large-model approaches.
  • Comfort working with Python and PyTorch; ability to turn expert judgment into well-defined machine learning problems.

Nice to have

  • Machine learning experience in CAD, generative design, chip, EDA, or hardware companies.
  • Familiarity with reinforcement learning from human feedback, reward modeling, or policy optimization.

Pay

USD 150,000 to 250,000 per year (base salary)
