About the job
Designs, fabricates, and tests mechanical subsystems for autonomous machines, from initial concepts through working prototypes and integrated field-ready systems.
What you'll do
- Lead mechanical subsystem design and prototype iterations, including material, tolerance, and production-method selection.
- Create CAD models and perform calculations and FEA; fabricate and test hardware using workshop tools and machines.
- Integrate mechanical designs with drive components, sensing, controls, and cross-functional engineering systems.
