Defends civil premises-liability and other property-related injury cases, managing matters from initial evaluation through discovery, motions, and resolution or trial preparation.
What you'll do
- Conduct and defend depositions, attend court hearings, and participate in site visits.
- Draft and respond to written discovery and develop litigation strategies.
- Manage cases and provide clients and insurers with status updates and assessments.
What they ask for
- At least 5 years of civil defense litigation experience, including premises liability matters.
- Juris Doctor degree and current, good-standing admission to the California bar.
- Substantial deposition experience; hands-on discovery drafting and law and motion practice experience.
