About the job

Leads applied machine learning research on long-running autonomous agents, from experimentation and model training through production rollout.

What you'll do

  • Fine-tune language and multimodal models and develop agents that plan, retain context, recover from errors, and interpret user goals.
  • Build simulated environments, data pipelines, and test suites to train and evaluate agents.
  • Run experiments, move findings into production, and help set the research group’s priorities and engineering direction.

What they ask for

  • Strong machine learning research and engineering skills, with deep expertise in at least one relevant area.
  • Sound experimental judgment and ability to deliver complete working systems.
  • Ability to work across exploratory research, large training runs, and production engineering.
  • Track record of owning significant research work, such as a model, agent system, dataset, publication, or open-source contribution.

Nice to have

  • Direct experience with reinforcement learning for model fine-tuning, agents, or long-running systems.
  • Publications, open-source work, released benchmarks, training environments, data pipelines, test harnesses, or exceptional competitive achievement.
