Doctorate or comparable hands-on experience in a quantitative or technical discipline.

About the job

Leads research on machine-learning systems that continue learning and improving after deployment, and works with engineers to bring research results into production.

What you'll do

  • Build and lead a research program on model memory, adaptation, and continued improvement.
  • Guide technical direction and rapidly run experiments on promising research ideas.
  • Partner with software and ML engineers to develop datasets, evaluate results, and integrate findings into the product.

What they ask for

  • Doctorate or comparable hands-on experience in a quantitative or technical discipline.
  • Research background in continuous learning, few-shot adaptation, self-improvement, or memory; reinforcement learning or agent systems alone is insufficient.
  • Practical experience post-training large models using supervised and reinforcement-based approaches, plus a record of translating research into production systems.
  • Publications at leading machine-learning conferences or journals; strong coding in Python, a major deep-learning framework, and large-scale multi-machine training; able to work on-site.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience at a research lab, large technology company, or leading AI developer.
  • Experience applying post-training techniques to agents handling long, multi-step tasks.

Pay

USD 200,000 to 400,000 per year (base salary)
