Boston, Massachusetts · Senior · Full-time · Posted Oct 15, 2026

Experience
3 to 5 years; experience across multiple tape-outs.
Education
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with an analog/mixed-signal focus.

About the job

Develops analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks for custom silicon, from concept and circuit design through layout, verification, and lab characterization.

What you'll do

  • Develop and own circuit blocks across chip programs through sign-off, including data converters, clock generation, references, regulators, oscillators, dividers, and high-speed serial links.
  • Run simulations for parasitic extraction, statistical variation, and process corners; draw circuit layouts by hand.
  • Help bring up and characterize fabricated circuits in the lab and collaborate across engineering functions.

What they ask for

  • 3 to 5 years of experience building analog or mixed-signal circuits.
  • Hands-on experience creating data converters, phase-locked loops, oscillators, regulators, or high-speed serial interfaces; background must include mixed-signal work.
  • Experience across multiple tape-outs; proficiency with industry-standard simulation tools, including parasitic extraction, Monte Carlo, and corner analysis.
  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with an analog/mixed-signal focus; based in or willing to relocate to the Boston area for hybrid work.

Nice to have

  • Experience with FinFET or 28nm/65nm nodes.
  • Hands-on layout beyond layout review; industry experience at an established semiconductor or electronics company.

Pay

USD 160,000 to 300,000 per year (base salary)
