Senior Full Stack Engineer

What you'll do

• Re-create the application stack in a locked-down government cloud and implement authorization-based data separation.
• Maintain dependable backend services and expand infrastructure capacity as usage grows.
• Collaborate with machine learning and platform colleagues to migrate retrieval-based AI pipelines, benchmark models, and reduce running costs.

What they ask for

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 1 year working with systems in a highly regulated defense or federal cloud environment.
• Strong React and Python skills, with a backend-leaning focus.
• At least 1 year in a startup setting; a mix of large technology company and startup experience is acceptable.
• Practical experience with AI services on a major cloud provider; bachelor's degree in computer science or a related STEM field; able to work on-site five days a week.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with federal security and compliance frameworks and the authorization process for government systems.
• Background in machine learning, retrieval pipelines, and large language models, ideally at significant organizational scale.

Pay

USD 180,000 to 250,000 per year (base salary)
