Staff Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Harden cloud infrastructure, container platforms, access management, and infrastructure-as-code configurations.
• Embed secure development practices, review designs, and maintain technical controls for compliance audits.
• Assess security team capacity and participate in recruiting.

What they ask for

• Senior-level engineering title and accountability for protecting demanding live cloud environments.
• Deep security knowledge across cloud platforms, container orchestration, access control, infrastructure automation, and secure development, with an application security focus.
• Hands-on experience writing and deploying security code, tools, or infrastructure; experience shaping technical direction and explaining tradeoffs.
• Practical experience with language models and awareness of AI-specific threats.

Nice to have

• Academic or athletic achievements, such as a degree from a highly regarded non-computing program or elite college sport participation.
• Earlier senior engineering work at a large technology employer followed by smaller-company experience, or experience as an early security hire at a rapidly growing firm.

Pay

USD 175,000 to 275,000 per year (base salary)
