Sets up and operates filament winding equipment to manufacture composite overwrapped pressure vessels for the Terran R rocket, supporting process improvement and technician training.
What you'll do
- Prepare and handle resins and fibers, operate winding machines, and refine winding programs and machine offsets.
- Inspect and measure work, document results, and help troubleshoot defects and process bottlenecks with engineering.
- Train and mentor less experienced technicians on winding, resin preparation, and cure processes.
