About the job

Own the design, bringup, and validation of high-performance compute boards for onboard AI/ML inference and science data processing in the Relay Data Center.

What you'll do

  • Design compute boards delivering at least 10 TFLOPS, from schematic capture through board-level validation.
  • Architect power delivery and design high-speed memory, PCIe, and Ethernet interfaces, including power monitoring and radiation-upset recovery circuitry.
  • Lead hands-on hardware bringup and debugging in close collaboration with software engineers.

What they ask for

  • BSEE.
  • Proficiency in high-speed digital PCB design, including multi-GHz signaling, dense BGA escape routing, and signal integrity analysis.
  • Strong power integrity and power delivery network design skills, including multi-rail architectures and voltage sequencing.
  • Strong experience designing, analyzing, and debugging high-speed serial interfaces, particularly PCIe Gen 4/5 and Ethernet.

Nice to have

  • Experience writing basic firmware for hardware bringup and validation.
  • Experience with space-qualified COTS hardware, PCB layout, embedded systems debugging, or thermal management.
