Own the vision and roadmap for Render’s datastore portfolio, especially Postgres, and guide its technical direction and developer experience.
What you'll do
- Set strategy and prioritize investments across database provisioning, reliability, recovery, scaling, performance, and connection management.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to shape the data layer’s architecture and balance reliability work with business needs.
- Define how managed Postgres should support AI-native applications, agent-driven database workflows, vector workloads, and retrieval pipelines.
