What you'll do

  • Develop physics models of electromagnetic docking dynamics and support rendezvous, proximity operations, and docking control algorithms.
  • Work on attitude determination and control for individual tiles and assembled spacecraft; evaluate the tile sensor suite.
  • Build simulation tools and dashboards to verify GNC algorithms before hardware testing.

What they ask for

  • Currently pursuing a relevant engineering, physics, or mathematics degree, with coursework in dynamics and controls.
  • Working knowledge of Python, C++, or MATLAB/Simulink for simulation and analysis.
  • Understanding of rigid-body dynamics and basic electromagnetics.

Nice to have

  • Experience with spacecraft attitude determination and control, electromagnetic systems, orbital mechanics, formation flying, swarm robotics, or multi-body reconfigurable systems; familiarity with Git.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and enthusiasm for solving difficult problems and advancing the space industry.
