About the job
Build and own the Kubernetes-based control plane and operator for deploying, onboarding, and operating Rerun Hub across company and customer infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain the Kubernetes operator, including CRDs, controllers, reconciliation, APIs, tests, and releases.
- Extend the control plane to onboard customers and configure networking, IAM, storage, and clusters.
- Improve production reliability, observability, CI/CD, incident response, and deployment workflows; participate in follow-the-sun on-call.

- Strong software engineering background and deep Kubernetes experience, including designing CRDs, writing controllers, and shipping operators to production; earlier-career engineers with strong Go and distributed-systems/Kubernetes fundamentals are also welcome.
- Proficiency in Go and ability to contribute to asynchronous Rust code, or eagerness to learn.
- Solid experience with AWS, infrastructure-as-code, and production-grade observability.
- Strong English communication, ownership, and comfort working directly in customer cloud accounts.
Nice to have
- Terraform/OpenTofu experience.
- Experience with high-throughput, time-series, or analytical databases; data-intensive infrastructure; or interest in robotics, AR/VR, ML, or simulation.
