What you'll do

  • Translate product and process requirements into machine architecture, plans, and interfaces with the product and plant.
  • Lead machine design, prototype build, testing, and production readiness, including shop-floor debugging and first-article support.
  • Build and lead the machine engineering organization and set machine technology and make-versus-buy strategy.

What they ask for

  • 15+ years designing and delivering complex electromechanical or process-equipment systems; equivalent depth from aerospace, automotive, capital equipment, or industrial automation is acceptable.
  • Track record taking hardware from prototype to production volume and leading multidisciplinary design teams through design, build, test, and revision.
  • Integrated-systems fluency across mechanics, structures, electrical power/actuation, and thermal/fluids, with first-principles design ability.
  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; effective communication and collaboration in a distributed team environment.

Nice to have

  • Background in advanced integrated systems, such as production machinery, transportation or aerospace structures and mechanisms, industrial robotics, or large-scale process equipment.
