About the job

Design and build Revel’s compiler infrastructure for its proprietary hardware-control language, enabling engineers to develop and deploy control software for physical systems.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and optimize compilers, including parsing, semantic analysis, intermediate representations, optimization passes, and code generation.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to evolve compiler architecture.
  • Improve compiler robustness, efficiency, determinism, and maintainability through testing and benchmarking.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Deep expertise in compiler design and implementation using LLVM or custom compiler toolchains.
  • Proficiency in C++ and strong knowledge of compiler internals, optimization, and code generation.
  • Proven experience with performance optimization and deterministic system constraints.

Nice to have

  • Experience developing compilers for domain-specific languages (DSLs).
  • Familiarity with real-time, embedded, or mission-critical systems; experience integrating compilers into broader software and hardware ecosystems.
